For small parts our High Speed Gang Tooled Slant 30 CNC Lathe Gobbles up work Quicker and Easier than a CNC Lathe with a Turret. There's no need to wait for a turret to index to the next tool. Since all the tools are mounted side by side on a table you just move to the next tool. The speed and time savings equate to larger profits. If your Part fits in a 1-C, 3-C, 5-C or 16-C Collet or can be Chucked in a 5" Chuck then the Slant 30 is the machine for you. Typically our Customers are Machining: Fittings, Valves, Computer Parts, Aircraft or Aerospace Parts, Medical Components etc. They use anything from Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Plastics to Exotic Materials. A Gang Style Machine allows the Machinist the opportunity to get real creative in tooling setups. Our large table has ample room for milling or grinding attachments. These come in real handy when you outfit your Slant 30 with a programmable C Axis. Now your more than turning with your slant 30, now your milling slots or cross drilling holes. The Slant 30 Ultra-Lathe can be far more than just a second operation machine, it can be a real production workhorse / profit center!

Quality is the "keyword" when describing a Slant 30

We start with a certified Meehanite Cast Base, Headstock, Saddle and Table. Each casting is furnace aged and precision machined. The Table and Saddle Ride on Ultra Smooth THK Linear Guide-ways. Precision Ball Screws are used in each Axis and Direct coupled to the Servo. No Belts are used.

The 30 degree slant bed design is the best slope to eliminate chip build up both in front of the spindle and on the lower mounted tools. The spindle is assembled using top on the line Class Nine Bearings to insure long life and high accuracy. A Built in foot pedal operated Dunham 5-C Collet closer is standard equipment and each machine is Bar Feeder ready. The Slant 30 is housed in a water tight enclosure that is Powder Coated to insure a long lasting new look.

1.5" Spindle Height

Our Higher than Standard Spindle Height Allows you to use nearly every brand of tooling on the market.

By using Sub Plates you can pre mount your tooling for fast tooling / setup changeovers, plus use 3/8" and up Tooling.

This added Height as well as our large 3 slotted table gives you plenty of capacity for Live tooling and Creative Tool Blocks.

Fagor

We offer a Fagor. The 8055 for our Standard two axis Machines or the 8055i for machines with C Axis or Sub-Spindle Machines. Made in Spain, Fagor Controls are used World Wide by both OEM Manufacturers and after market retrofitters. They feature Conversational Programming as well as G and M Code. The Color Display features solid Graphics and the ability to section and enlarge the graphic for a closer look at the part.

The LNC CONTROLLERS is built overseas. The Model we offer is the 510 & 310 which is expandable to three axis. The Control Looks and Feels much like the Top Japanese Brands. It uses Industry Standard G and M Codes and includes an RS-232 Port for offline programming. Also standard is Tool Path Graphics, Teach Mode, Hand-Wheel , Rapid Rate, Spindle RPM, as well as many other outstanding features.
